I encourage audience to consider both the image and the object themselves as sites for questioning their cultural, social, economic, and political conditions, as remarkable, diverse, and meaningful experience. Thus, this inquiry offers an opportunity to reflect about our perception, experimentation, and our own multiple levels relationship to the world.
In short, “äb-jekt”, is a project where I talk and inspect about objects −artifacts function and design. Project where I postulate and re-think the object as an attachment, as an extension of the body; mostly as an interlocutor of the individual, −the human, the body− in how it experiences the world.
This installation in composed of digital and manual modeling, sculpture, foam, plastic, wood, giclee, drawing, video, and sound.
