The viewer does not care if it is fake or not. Therefore, by having a completely sensorial, emotional and unthinking experience audience does not care about what believes but what sees and wants.
Lucha Libre is never disappointing since it always has its concretion in what spectators expect from there. Contrary to this, the Adversary opposes this sensorial cultural clash, by being an immobile sculpture in the arena, as a strategy that seeks to defeat the adversary – which is the viewer, by displacing, anesthetizing, and diminishing all sense of spectacle.
